SERVICES

Worship Services

Prior to our Worship Service we have 10 minutes of Chorus Singing (from 9.50am) and then our Sunday Worship starts at 10.00am finishing just after 11.00am. Following the Service, a small Morning Tea provides opportunity for Fellowship among ourselves.

Our appointed Minister conducts the services every other Sunday as he is appointed half time with us. Alternate weeks we have a Lay Preacher, Minister from elsewhere or local members leading our Worship.

Parking is available on site, including Handicap Parking, accessed from Hammond Road. Ample parking is also available in surrounding streets. The property is wheelchair friendly.

Children are welcome, but our specific program for them, which was run at the same time as our Church Service, has been temporarily suspended.

HISTORY, MISSION & VISION

History of Western Link Church

Our history dates back over 150 years when the first Findon Methodist Church was constructed by community labour at the corner of Hammond Rd and Crittenden Rd.

Western Link Uniting Church as it now stands, is the culmination of the coming together in 2004
of five western suburbs congregations: West Hindmarsh, Flinders Park, Kidman Park,
Allenby Gardens and Findon.

Our new Centre (the result of the redesigning and refit of the original Findon Methodist Church site) officially reopened on 28 August 2005.

Mission

Our key mission is “Spiritual Growth through Hospitality”

Vision

The vision which captures the hearts of the Western Link congregation is that we are a –
